The Davis Tech Open (DTO) is back, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting events of the year. Course Layout and Highlights
The 2025 DTO layout mixes accessible birdie holes with demanding par 4s and several island greens that bring plenty of risk-reward decision-making. Out-of-bounds (OB) rules are strict across sidewalks, curbs, fences, and hard surfaces, keeping players honest on placement.
-
Hole 1 (681 ft, Par 4): A long opener with OB on curbs, sidewalks, and fences.
-
Hole 5 (521 ft, Par 4): Demands distance and precision, with OB on hard surfaces and over fences.
-
Hole 8 (452 ft, Par 4): An island-style fairway where only two grassy areas are in play. Position is everything.
-
Holes 9, 12, 19–21: Island greens add pressure — miss the island, and you’re headed to the drop zone with a penalty stroke.
-
Hole 17 (510 ft, Par 4): Features a mando left of the light pole plus OB challenges on both sides of the fairway.
Overall, players can expect a technical yet scorable course with plenty of birdie chances if you stay in bounds.
Final Notes

The 2025 DTO will be a fun challenge with plenty of memorable shots. Good luck to all competitors, and may your discs fly straight and true!
