2024 Cache Valley Disc Golf Events!

Discgolfing and Bandit's cove courseSpring is almost upon us, and 2024 is shaping up to be an exceptional year for Disc Golf in Cache Valley.

We are eagerly awaiting the complete melting of snow and drying of the ground to officially start the season. Here are some highlights of what’s in store this year:

New Courses!

Indeed, we’re talking about multiple courses. Two new disc golf courses will be introduced this year on the newly acquired Logan City land behind Infinite Discs, near the old landfill. The first course is an 18-hole Champion level course, offering a unique experience in the valley. This standout course will feature par fours and fives, elevation changes, and exceptionally long holes. Spanning over 100,000 feet in throwing distance, it will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete an 18-hole round. This course will be equipped with Red Infinite Discs baskets.

The second 18-hole course, sponsored by Doomsday Discs, will cater more to beginners and recreational players on the Southeast side of the property. It will consist entirely of par 3’s and will feature Doomsday Discs baskets.

Improved Courses

Our efforts to enhance the Bandit’s Cove disc golf course in Hyrum are ongoing. This unique wooded course is a significant contribution to Cache Valley Disc Golf, and we aim to have 18 complete holes ready at this wonderful location by year-end.

Tournaments

Plans are underway to host disc golf tournaments at Von Baer Park, Bandit’s Cove, and to revive the Cache Valley Classic at the new Logan City courses towards the year’s end.

  • Bandit’s Cove Tournament: May 31 – June 2.
  • Von Baer Park Tournament: July 13.

In addition, don’t forget to visit Fort Buenaventura for this years Beehive Classic on June 7-10th for a PDGA A Tier event that will be a Pro Tour Qualifier Event.
